The curriculum implemented in the Faculty of Philosophy complies with the National educational standard of higher professional education with a specialization in Philosophy. Characteristic feature of this educational programme is fundamentality of graduates training that is achieved through development of an extensive system of modern philosophical knowledge in its main sections (ontology, epistemology, axiology, logic, history, foreign and domestic philosophy, social philosophy, philosophy and methodology of science, ethics, aesthetics, philosophy, religion, etc.). The graduate acquired interdisciplinary knowledge of philosophy and various branches of learning. The educational programme allowed graduate to study a large block of the original special courses and provided the greatest opportunity for in-depth professional specialization.Within the Ontology and Epistemology programme graduate mastered advanced knowledge of the theory of being, epistemology, axiology. The graduate developed specific skills of using of methodological approaches to the analysis of being and cognition.

Political Science

The curriculum implemented in the Faculty of Philosophy complies with the National educational standard of higher professional education with a specialization in Political Sciences. Characteristic feature of this educational programme is fundamentality of graduates training that is achieved through development of an extensive system of modern political knowledge in its main sections. Substantial part of graduate’s knowledge, skills and abilities has interdisciplinary character. The educational programme allowed graduate to study a large block of the original special courses and provided the greatest opportunity for in-depth professional specialization.Within the Economic Policy programme graduate received advanced knowledge enabling to perform the expert review of the recommendations of various economic and political schools on transformation of government economic policy (inter-state units, international organizations). The graduate developed ability to implement and improve strategic management of economic and political processes; skills for practical application of field-oriented knowledge of economic policy to improve the efficiency of administrative decisions in government and business structures.

Advertising and Public Relations

The curriculum implemented in the Faculty of Philosophy complies with the National educational standard of higher professional education with a specialization in Public Relations. A fundamental training combines studying of modern interdisciplinary system of communication (theory and practice of PR, fundamentals of communication theory, communication management, sociology and psychology of mass communication, theory and practice of mass communication, advertising in the communication process, marketing studies in advertising and PR, planning and organizing PR campaigns, etc.), with learning of practical skills in practice-oriented training sessions and work experience. Under the chosen specialization a graduate studied a block of unique specialized courses that reflect current changes in the industry.Within the Public Relations in Commercial Entities programme graduate received knowledge of integrated marketing communications, peculiarities of using PR technology in various fields (industry, services, financial markets, etc.). The graduate developed skills enabling work in the management of strategic communications in commercial structures (advertising and communications agencies, corporate departments for public relations, marketing and advertising, etc.).

Cultural Studies

The curriculum implemented in the Faculty of Philosophy complies with the National educational standard of higher professional education with a specialization in Cultural Studies. Characteristic feature of this educational programme is fundamentality of graduates training that is achieved through development of an extensive system of modern knowledge in Cultural Studies in its main sections. Substantial part of graduate’s knowledge, skills and abilities has interdisciplinary character. The graduate received in-depth knowledge of art history, foreign languages and disciplines of philosophical orientation, especially of historical and philosophical nature. The educational programme allowed graduate to study a large block of the original special courses. The graduates are generalists in demand in higher education institutions and in academic and research organizations.

Religious Studies

The curriculum implemented in the Faculty of Philosophy complies with the National educational standard of higher professional education with a specialization in Religion Studies. The graduate got advanced knowledge of world religions, genesis and evolution of religion in the history of society, the history of religious philosophy, the problems of philosophy, sociology, psychology, anthropology of religion. The graduate acquired interdisciplinary knowledge of religion studies, philosophy, sociology, psychology and other humanitarian sciences. The educational programme allowed graduate to study a large block of the original special courses and develop specific skills in using methodology of modern religions research.
